Project of a single family house, with two store in the center of Póvoa de Varzim.
The design of the facade had at its main concern, the urban insertion and its relationship with the existing buildings and the surrounding public space.
Access to housing is done through a courtyard that softens the transition between public and private space. This courtyard also enhances new entries of light, such as the various skylights along the cover allowing the entrance of daylight throughout all rooms of the house.
On the ground floor is located the garage, the kitchen, the toilet and the living room, upstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The garden, facing west, is physically divided into two spaces: one was meant to be a living space, an extension of the living room, the other behind an exterior wall, is an outdoor facilities space that can be used according to the needs dweller (clothes drying area, small vegetable garden, etc….).
